Scope and responsibility
Auxerta, Inc. is responsible for the corporate Website and product inquiries. Auxerta, LLC is responsible for business correspondence and engagements concerning its AI data and evaluation services. In this policy, “Auxerta” means the entity responsible for the activity described. Where applicable law uses that term, that entity acts as the controller of the information it processes for its own purposes.
Argotu has its own privacy policy. Neognathae inquiries and model-access arrangements are addressed in its product notice. Customer datasets processed on a customer’s instructions are governed by the service agreement and any required data processing addendum, rather than by general Website consent.
Categories of personal information
Auxerta processes the following categories of information, as applicable to the interaction.
- Correspondence: your email address, name or organization if provided, message, attachments, and details needed to handle the matter.
- Website delivery and security: technical request information, such as IP address, requested page, browser information, request time, and response status.
- Optional analytics: page visits, referral sources, product-link clicks, and associated Website usage information, collected only after permission is given.
- Privacy preferences: the selected analytics choice, a timestamp, and the preference version stored in your browser.
Purposes and legal bases
Auxerta uses correspondence to answer inquiries, evaluate proposed work, provide support, and address privacy or legal matters. Technical records support Website delivery, troubleshooting, and security. Optional analytics measures how visitors use the Website.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, Auxerta relies on contractual necessity for requested pre-contractual steps and performance of an agreement; legitimate interests for Website administration, security, and ordinary business correspondence, subject to the rights of the individual; consent for optional analytics; and legal obligation where processing is required by law.
You may browse without allowing analytics. Providing information in an inquiry is voluntary, but withholding information needed to understand or verify it may prevent a response or completion of the requested action.
Analytics and browser storage
Website analytics remains off until you select Allow analytics. The Website uses a self-hosted Umami tracker without analytics cookies, advertising trackers, or session recording. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals keep analytics off. Product-link events use fixed product identifiers; page query strings and fragments are excluded from analytics URLs.
Use Privacy preferences in the footer to decline or withdraw permission. Withdrawal prevents future analytics collection. It does not erase statistics already collected or affect delivery and security records.
Your choice is stored in this browser for 180 days. It applies to this browser and Website address. Clearing storage or changing browsers or devices may require another choice. If storage is unavailable, the choice lasts only for the current page session.
Service inquiries and customer data
Auxerta, LLC handles service inquiries sent to partner@auxerta.com and related business correspondence. It uses the information provided to assess scope, prepare an agreement, administer an engagement, and meet associated legal obligations.
An inquiry does not authorize unrestricted use of a dataset or establish a processing agreement. Before transferring customer data, agree on the permitted purpose, categories of information, access, security, retention, and any required data processing terms. Where Auxerta acts as a processor, the customer determines the purposes and provides documented instructions.
Recipients and international processing
Hosting, infrastructure, and email providers process information as needed to deliver their services. Auxerta may disclose relevant information where legally required, or where necessary and lawful to address misuse, protect rights and safety, or establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.
Auxerta operates in the United States and Japan. The Website and self-hosted analytics use infrastructure in the United States. Correspondence may be handled by personnel or providers in another country. Where applicable law requires safeguards for a restricted transfer, those safeguards must be established for the relevant processing. Contact Auxerta for information about the arrangements applicable to your inquiry.
These Website practices do not authorize the licensing of Argotu content or disclosure of customer datasets. Any such activity is subject to its own terms, permissions, and applicable law.
Retention and security
Retention is determined by the purpose and category of information, the status of the inquiry or engagement, follow-up and investigation requirements, statutory recordkeeping obligations, limitation periods, and backup cycles. The 180-day period for a browser preference does not govern retention of other records.
Access and handling shall be proportionate to the nature of the information and the purpose of processing. No transmission or storage method provides an absolute guarantee of security. Passwords, complete payment-card details, and unnecessary sensitive information shall not be submitted in ordinary correspondence. Contact Auxerta to establish an appropriate transfer method where required.
Individual rights and requests
Subject to applicable law, you may exercise rights of access, rectification, erasure, data portability, restriction of processing, withdrawal of consent, and complaint to a competent supervisory authority. These rights are subject to statutory conditions and exceptions. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.
You may also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. An objection will be assessed under the requirements of applicable law.
Send requests to contact@auxerta.com and identify the relevant Website, product, or service. Auxerta may request information reasonably necessary to verify and address the request. Where Auxerta processes information on a customer’s behalf, the request may need to be directed to or handled in coordination with that customer.
Children’s information
The corporate Website does not require a child to register or provide contact information. Product eligibility and parental controls are addressed in the applicable product policy. Contact Auxerta if a child has supplied personal information without the authorization required by law.
Changes and contact
Material changes in processing require appropriate notice and, where required, additional consent before they take effect. Publication of a revised policy does not itself supply that consent. For privacy questions, email contact@auxerta.com and identify the Auxerta product or service concerned.
